CPT events in September 2016

We have some interesting CPT related events on the agenda. You are most welcome to visit our booth, where the latest developments in the field of soil investigation equipment will be presented. Please contact us if you wish to make a special appointment, but of course you can just come over as well.

5th International Conference on Geotechnical and Geophysical Site Characterisation

From 5 to 9 September 2016 the 5th International Conference on Geotechnical and Geophysical Site Characterisation (ISC’5) will take place at the Jupiter’s Casino Convention Centre, minutes from the Gold Coast beaches in Queensland, Australia. The ISC’5 is organized by the Technical Committee (TC) 102 of the International Society of Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) and the Australian Geomechanics Society. The conference was previously held in Brazil (ISC’4, 2012), Taiwan (ISC’3, 2008) Portugal (ISC’2, 2004) and Atlanta (ISC’1, 1998). ISC brings together the world’s experts who are working daily to improve the quality of site characterization and reduce the difficulties involved. This conference is the forum for sharing knowledge and experience.

We are sponsoring the conference, will be present with a booth (booth # 33) and expect to be presenting our paper on the digital Icone technology with its click-on modules in combination with experiences from users in the field. More information about the event can be found here. Register as a visitor via this link.

34th Baugrundtagung

Another event that takes place in the autumn of 2016, is the 34th Baugrundtagung. From 14 to 17 September it will be held in the Stadthalle in Bielefeld, Germany. This is rather close to the Netherlands, so although the event is focused on German attendees it is also conveniently located to attract Dutch visitors. The following subjects will be discussed: civil engineering, earthworks/foundations, tunneling, infrastructure projects and geotechnics for renewable energy and sustainable development. The German Geotechnical Society (DGGT) is responsible for organizing the event. Just as previous editions, we are present with a booth. Our booth number is C.17. The main website of the Baugrundtagung can be visited via the following link.
