A.P. van den Berg eye-catcher at CPT18 in Delft

This Thursday and Friday (21 & 22 June 2018) the 4th international symposium on Cone Penetration Testing CPT’18 will be held at the TU Delft (University of Technology) in the Netherlands. This conference is the sequel to the previous successful symposia in Linkoping, Sweden (1995), Huntington Beach, California, USA (2010) and Las Vegas, Nevada, USA (2014).
As the symposium is taking place in our home country, that also happens to be the cradle of CPT and because it is the year of our 50th anniversary, we have tried hard to become the eye-catcher of this CPT event. So we are Silver Sponsor of CPT’18, we will be contributing with 2 poster presentations of papers we submitted with 2 of our customers, we will present ourselves at an inside and an outside booth at the CPT’18 exhibition and we also managed to organize our own demonstration area close to the exhibition.
Inside we are showing our Icone Data Acquisitions System and our smallest HYSON 100 kN-LW CPT system. Friday, during the last break, we will be giving away 1 Icone, so please make sure you drop your business card in the lottery bowl on our booth. Outside, at the entrance of the TU Aula Congress Centre, we will show the latest Track-Truck GOLD Edition! You can enjoy a snack, a drink and a social or business talk while admiring the latest addition to our GOLDen fleet.
At our demonstration area (a 5 minutes walk from the exhibition & symposium) various CPT systems will be on display and will be pushing CPT’s or click-on modules for other parameters. Also here you can enjoy a snack, drink and talk, but there is even more to admire. First of all you can have your first “live” sneak preview of our COSON-ST, the hands-free CPT machine for onshore soil investigations. Furthermore you can expect to see a CPT Crawler, built with our extendable roof and flat floor surface, various Track-Trucks, either GOLD or non-GOLD, the flagship and showpiece in the onshore CPT industry invented by A.P. van den Berg himself. We would already express our gratitude to the customers that are cooperating with us in making these demonstration possible.
You are invited to visit our inside and outside booths and our demo site. All of them are open on Thursday from 8.30 to 18.00 hrs and on Friday from 8.30 to 17.00 hrs. Please note that for the outside exhibition and our demo site it is not required to register for CPT’18 as these are in the public area. So even when you are not planning to visit CPT’18 for the symposium, we think it is very interesting to visit us with all our machines on display and the COSON-ST in particular.
